Day 6 of our 21 Day #fillyourcup Challenge may be commonsense, but it’s easy to not take the time to do it.
Breakfast, not just a cup of coffee on your way out the door, or even a piece of toast and coffee on your way out the door. A proper, sit down and let it digest kind of breakfast.
I get it. You’re busy. You’re tired. You barely get out the door on time as it is, let alone sit down for a nourishing, energising, whole food breakfast. And this is why I’ve set this challenge for a weekend.
I spent many years either rushing or completely skipping breakfast – so here’s my top tip for making sure I have a breakfast every day that’s delicious and makes me feel great – prepare as much as I can the night before and assemble in the morning. It is probably one of the best things I’ve done for myself in years.
There’s a tonne of research on why breakfast is the most important meal of the day – give it a go, I promise you will not regret it.
