Exercise. It’s a proven mood booster. Need I say more? It helps increase self-esteem, can relieve the effects of anxiety and depression and can improve sleep.
Personally my favourite benefit? It clears my head. It brings me into the present moment. Meditation in motion.
It doesn’t have to be strenuous exercise, the keys are to do it regularly and to do something that you enjoy.
